Hi, I'm José. Songscape is where I design and build my own software: a small set of tools, each one made end to end by one person, and made to last.
Four tools,
one maker.
None of these are out yet. I build them slowly, adding what I need as I need it, and I use them every day along with a small group of beta testers. Each one ships when it's polished, one app at a time, starting at the top of the list.
Small on purpose. Nobody else sets the roadmap, and I don't build features to move a metric.I make the tools I want to use, and I make them properly.

One person, end to end
The same person shapes the idea, designs the interface, writes the code, and answers the email. Nothing gets lost between teams, because there are no teams.

Honest about the stage
Everything here is still in development, and the site says so. I won't invent launch dates or build hype around a waitlist. When something is ready to use, I'll email you.

Made to be kept
I keep the list short on purpose. I look after everything I've made, so nothing gets quietly dropped the moment I get excited about something new.
Hi, I'm José.
I've spent years helping SaaS teams at large companies shape and ship their products. Along the way I learned a lot about what holds up once real people start using software, and what doesn't.
Songscape is where that experience goes into products of my own. I still work with one long-term client on software at a much bigger scale, and I like that it keeps me close to real teams. Here, though, I get to chase my own ideas, and what I build belongs to me.
